Challenges Raised
Labor regulations information extraction
Increasing Number of Applicants for Orphan Foster Care Challenge
Wage Protection Challenge
The First Challenge
The Ministry of Human Resources is facing an increasing challenge in labor regulations due to the diversity of services provided by the ministry. There is now a need for an advanced method to dynamically extract information from labor regulations to interact with user needs.
The Second Challenge
The ministry is facing a challenge with the increasing number of families applying to foster orphans and the need for a large team to assess the eligibility of these families. This involves assigning the most suitable orphan to a family based on eligibility and prioritization criteria for fostering. Currently, many paper documents are submitted and uploaded to the system, where they are reviewed manually. Additionally, some tests, such as the “Minnesota Test,” are conducted to evaluate the family, and the family is visited, with the results being explained manually to the beneficiary.
The Third Challenge
The ministry is facing a challenge with the Wage Protection System, as establishments are not adhering to the timely transfer of their employees’ salaries. The ministry has developed a service integrated with banks to upload monthly payrolls and determine each establishment’s compliance rate. This currently requires manual work from the establishments.
Required Solution
Developing an intelligent interactive tool that is fed and trained with various labor regulations for services, allowing users to ask any questions they have about the service, and having the tool respond based on the data it has been trained on, in addition to integrating it with electronic services to directly verify the compliance of labor regulations within these electronic services.
Required Solution
- Develop technological solutions to electronically process and filter all waiting lists in real-time.
- Employ artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to conduct eligibility and prioritization processes.
- Utilize AI to match the most suitable orphan to the most suitable family.
- Employ robotic technologies to reduce human intervention in the manual review procedures of fostering applications.
- Use AI-powered Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to read and extract information from documents written in Arabic and make decisions based on these documents using robotics.
Required Solution
Develop a creative solution to ensure that private sector employees receive their salaries on time and to increase the compliance rate with the Wage Protection System within the ministry using emerging technologies and artificial intelligence (AI).
